    A Honduran national in the U.S. illegally was arrested Friday in Pass Christian for allegedly hitting and seriously injuring a pedestrian, then leaving the scene of the accident. An illegal immigrant was arrested Friday evening in connection with a hit-and-run in Pass Christian that left a teenaged girl hospitalized with serious injuries While hundreds of families gathered downtown to celebrate Christmas in the Pass, a girl was struck by a hit-and-run driver while crossing Highway 90. Pass Christian Police Chief Tim Hendricks said the accident happened just before 6 p.m. at the Davis Avenue intersection. 2 comments

    The Christmas events keep on rolling in Hancock County and Pass Christian -- the 11th annual Bay St. Louis Christmas Parade and 7th annual Snowflakes and Sugarplums Festival boasted a huge crowd this past Saturday, and officials say they're hoping for a record turn-out this Friday night for the 33rd annual Christmas in the Pass. Christmas in the Pass, hosted by the Pass Christian Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled this Friday, Dec. 7, from 5-9 p.m. in downtown Pass Christian.

The Pirates had four turnovers, including a blocked field goal returned for a touchdown. "We had the game in reach in the first half and then a touchdown called back," said Pass Christian Head Football Coach Casey Wittmann.
