    Tyler Consolidated's baseball team saw its three game win streak come to and end April 21 as the team lost a twin bill to host Ravenswood, 17-7 and 14-2. The Knights got on the board first in game one and took a 1-0 lead, but in the bottom of the second, the tide turned when Ravenswood brought two runners across for the lead.

    Three students from Tyler Consolidated High School have qualified for the WV State Social Studies Fair to be held in Charleston on Friday, April 27. Juniors Hattie Murphy and Sabrina Smith took first place at the Regional Fair held in Parkersburg with their project "Operation Valkyrie: The Best of Luck," which was entered in the World History Group Division. Sophomore George Kester won first place at Regionals with his project "My Hero" , entered in the U.S. History Individual Division.
