    Three Paradise Town Council members and several citizens came down to Chico on Tuesday night to ask the Chico City Council an important question: Would Chico be interested in helping Paradise solve its long-standing sewage problem? While the town of Paradise was prepared, the city of Chico obviously was not. Chico councilors seemed blindsided by the discussion, especially the part where Paradise Vice Mayor Jody Jones concluded her presentation with what she called a “bottom-line” question: “Does the city of Chico agree to the inclusion of the Paradise to Chico sewer pipe as a preferred alternative in our environmental document?” The Chico council backed off.
