    The parents of a 20-year-old Carson man who drowned in the waters off Inspiration Point last year have filed a wrongful death suit against the city of Rancho Palos Verdes, Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy and other agencies. The lawsuit, filed this week by attorney David Torres-Siegrist on behalf of Carmen and Tomas Compean, alleges that the conservancy, city and other defendants maintained property that posed a danger to visitors and failed to warn people of the treacherous water conditions, despite the fact that the area was known to be hazardous.
