    A toddler suffered minor injuries Friday evening after wandering into U.S. 1 near Ormond Beach where the boy was struck by a car, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Cayden Main, who is believed to be about 3 years old, was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center as a precaution after the front of Sally Noel's northbound four-door Mercury knocked the boy down about 6:35 p.m. Friday, troopers said.

    A 50-year-old Ormond Beach man suffered a broken leg in an 8-foot fall at a construction site in Palm Coast, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office. Shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday, Paul John MacLennan of Budd Severino Advanced Home Exteriors, was installing soffit to the front exterior of a home on Arena Lake Drive when the extension plank he was standing on broke and caused him to fall to the dirt below, deputies said.
