    Palm Bay police pulled a silver sedan from the Indian River Lagoon early Monday after they said a man drove into the water while under the influence. Christopher Messer, 34, of the 2000 block of Kabibonkka Avenue Northeast, was traveling eastbound on Port Malabar Boulevard about 2:25 a.m. Monday when he failed to make a turn onto U.S.1 as the road came to an end at the river.
