    Frank Potts, 42, of Palestine was taken into custody shortly after midnight on Thursday when a patrol officer found him hiding in a ditch behind a convenience store after he fled from police and crashed the stolen vehicle he was driving. Officers with the Palestine Police Department responded to the shooting in the 900 block of San Jacinto, according to a news release from the City of Palestine.
