Butte County Superior Court Judge Tamara Mosbarger on Wednesday sentenced John Beebe Jr., 39, to 25 years to life, plus an additional five-year term, after Beebe pleaded no contest in October to a felony count of first-degree residential burglary.

    Oroville >> An Oroville man pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges he was driving under the influence of alcohol and caused a crash that killed two men last month on Highway 70, according to court documents. Marc Andrews, 47, is charged in Butte County Superior Court with a single felony count of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated stemming from the wreck on the highway south of Oroville.
