    Lori Hoefs, 55, of Oronoco, was driving west on County Road 88 at Minnesota Highway 56 and 292nd St. E Road about 10:24 a.m. According to Minnesota State Patrol reports, Hoefs failed to stop at a stop sign and broadsided a car driven by Glen Travis, 81, of Dodge Center, and his passenger Brenda Travis, 78, of Rochester. The impact caused the Travis vehicle to go into the southbound lane of Highway 56, where a car driven by Erica Myking, 36, of Burnsville and her passenger Renee Piersas, 36, of Bloomington crashed into it while traveling southbound on the highway.

    A redevelopment project at Miracle Mile shopping center in Rochester went outside of the city of Rochester's normal review process to appear at a Monday night Rochester City Council meeting, only to see the project owner request a delay of more than a month to appear at the council's Nov. 21 meeting. The city's Planning and Zoning Commission had reviewed the project at three meetings and at its Oct. 12 meeting the commission gave its recommendation for approval to the application, an amendment to a planned urban development area.
