    Volusia County deputies arrested a man Saturday in connection with an earlier shooting that left a man seriously injured outside a Sanford bar. Andraus Zyrae Lee, 22, was taken into custody after Sanford police said they found George Beasley in the parking lot of the Wet Spot bar on Park Avenue with a gunshot wound to the head just after 12:30 a.m. A Sanford investigator working detail at the bar heard the gunshot, then saw a Toyota Camry drive away, police said.

    A man suspected in an October drive-by shooting was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals and Volusia deputies Friday, according to the Sheriff's Office. Michael Dennis Lawson Jr., 28, was arrested on charges of attempted murder with a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and shooting into a dwelling after deputies said he fired an AK-47 into a Deltona home Oct. 13. A 12-year-old in the living room during the shooting was uninjured, but nearly hit by gunfire, deputies said.
