    TRENTON - Two men and a woman were indicted Wednesday on charges they carried out a counterfeit check scheme that neted the trio $700,000, Acting Attorney General John Hoffman said. Harold Stephens, 31, of Elizabeth, 39-year-old MIchael Caldwell of Irvington and Janilyn Roman, 31, of Orlando, Fla., face charges including conspiracy, money laundering and forgery.
