Keith Thomas Ceragioli of Bentwood Lane, a registered felon with nine arrests since 2010 for shoplifting, petit theft, dealing in stolen property and grand theft, remains in the Clay County Jail on $80,000 bail after his latest arrest, according to the Sheriff's Office.

    A Clay County Circuit Court judge on Wednesday ordered closed beginning next month a crime-infested rundown Orange Park motel that's been the focus of contention for 17 months. Judge Mike Sharrit ruled the Parkway Inn, formerly known as the Rodeway Inn, must close effective July 1 and will remain closed through Dec. 31. The judge's order enforces a closure petition issued by the Town of Orange Park, which had declared the $40-a-night motel a public nuisance because of pervasive criminal activity - including meth labs and other illegal drug offenses - as well as chronic public safety, health and building code violations.
