    One man is dead and a woman hospitalized following a domestic dispute early Tuesday morning in a home in the 8600 block of Springtree Road on the city's Westside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Officers were called to the home just west of Fouraker Road about 1:20 a.m. after a 911 call about someone being stabbed, according to the police report.

    A 27-year Port Orange man was arrested Thursday evening on charges of aggravated manslaughter of a child and aggravated child neglect in connection to the Feb. 4 death of a 9-month-old girl in his care while living in a hotel at 442 Blanding Blvd. in Orange Park, according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office. Mathew Hamrysky of Village Trail remains behind bars on $400,000 bail in the charges after his 6:30 p.m. arrest and Friday morning's first appearance in court, according to the Sheriff's Office.

    A 40-year-old Orange Park man was arrested early Tuesday on attempted murder, armed kidnapping and other charges after a 4 a.m. robbery at the Speedway convenience store at 1545 Blanding Blvd. and an attempted break-in on Joan Avenue, according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office. Samuel Andrew Cole, listed as homeless, was also charged with aggravated battery, armed robbery and burglary after his 5 a.m. arrest, and remains on no bail at the Clay County Jail, according to jail records.

    The Parkway Inn in the Town of Orange Park was forced to shut down two months ago, and United States Dristrict Judge Brian Davis decided Thursday to consider arguments for and against keeping it closed. The town's Nuisance Abatement Board declared the Parkway Inn, formerly the Rodeway Inn, a public nuisance in February 2015, arguing 14 incidents of selling or possessing drugs took place on the property at 300 Park Ave. over a six-month period, according to court records.

    An Ocala man and Orange Park woman are charged after a minor told police she had sex with them while visiting during a spring break trip. The victim told authorities in Tempe, Ariz., she had sex with the pair at the Courtyard Marriott in Orange Park on March 11. Antonio Alberto Tallerino, 67, was booked Wednesday into the Clay County jail after a warrant was issued for his arrest on three counts of unlawful sexual activity with certain minors, according to an arrest report.
