    "I was wondering if you could explain to me why it is necessary for meteorologists/reporters to stand in knee deep water with 60 mph winds to do a news report? Reminds me of the time I was at a dinner and found myself seated next to Mike Graham, weatherman at Baton Rouge's WAFB-TV. I asked Mike if he stood outside reporting on storms, and his answer was along the lines of "Why would I want to do that?" He said he assumed his viewers knew what a storm looked like, so it was his job to give them information, not get wet.
