    A water break occurred on highway 79 in Olney at about 3 p.m. on Aug. 18 due to misinformation given to workers who were from Brazos Telephone Company. "They mis-marked the locate, and the city was looking on the wrong side of the road," said Kevin Gonzales a worker for Kelly Cable on-site.

    Ryan Anthony Winner, 34, of Olney who was charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of children, was sentenced to 60 years in the U.S. District Court in Wichita Falls on Monday, Jan. 4, according to a release by the office of U.S. District Judge Reed O' Connor, the presiding judge on the case. For each count, Winner was sentenced to 360 months in prison, for a total of 720 months - or 60 years.
