    The association that oversees high school sports in the state is taking a wait-and-see approach to allegations that student-athletes at Capital Preparatory Magnet School were admitted outside the normal lottery process, but even if the group does investigate, it will not attempt to strip championship titles from past years. The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference 's Board of Control met Tuesday afternoon and discussed a Courant investigation that revealed at least 10 athletes had enrolled at the school over several years without having won seats through the school's blind lottery.

    A tractor trailer truck carrying 30,000 pounds of strawberries overturned on an I-95 ramp in Old Saybrook Friday morning. The Department of Transportation reports that the Route 9 southbound ramp to I-95 north is closed because of a tractor trailer rollover that was reported at 7:11 a.m. State police say there were minor injuries in the rollover.
