    The City of Ocean Springs has agreed to settle its claim against BP for $852,000 and another $1 million for the Ocean Springs school district for economic and other losses suffered as a result of the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill. The City received a partial settlement of $157,000 four years ago, bringing the total paid to the City by BP to $1.09 million -- plus the $1 million for the school district.
