    An Ocala man was arrested Sunday and faces three counts of DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide stemming from a deadly January crash. The Florida Highway Patrol arrested Travis Lee Johnson, 31 of Ocala, for the Jan. 22 wreck that claimed the lives of William McCullough, 61, a former congressional candidate from DeLeon Springs; his wife, Renee McCullough, 56; and their son, Ryan McCullough, 31, in Anthony.

    As the moon tracked its path across the face of the sun Monday - a near-90-percent eclipse, but a barely noticeable dimming in Daytona Beach - John Champion, on vacation from Ocala, used a pair of binoculars to project the sun's waning outline onto the Boardwalk. "After reading about how dangerous it is and the questionable quality of those glasses, I felt it was definitely worth a shot this way," he said, having only realized over the weekend that he was in a prime viewing location.
