    Charges filed against a man who is accused of using social media to lure a 12-year-old into meeting him in Nuevo were upheld in a Riverside courthouse hearing Friday, Aug. 21. A judge ruled that prosecutors had enough evidence to take 27-year-old Scott Michael Stilwell to trial after hearing testimony from a Riverside County sheriff's deputy and a detective who worked on the case. The victim's family members reported the girl missing from their home on Via Santana in the unincorporated community east of Perris at 1:39 a.m. on June 29. Minutes later, the girl's father and brother, who left the house to search for the girl, found her with Stilwell near his vehicle about a block from their home, the sheriff's officials testified.
