    The National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for areas north and east of Tulsa until 9 a.m. Counties in the advisory include Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Muskogee, Nowata, Ottawa, Sequoyah, Wagoner and Washington. News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says the fog should clear out after 9 a.m. After it does, he says temperatures across eastern Oklahoma will reach near 80 with light southeast winds.

    A former Nowata man convicted for the assault and kidnapping of two Missouri women near Joplin in December 2011 has been sentenced again to four concurrent terms of 15 years. According to the Joplin Globe newspaper, Johnny Davis, 35, was convicted in 2012 in a Newton County, Missouri court of kidnapping and assault, but the Missouri Court of Appeals overturned the conviction last year, saying Davis was deprived his right to a public trial when a judge denied his family access to the courtroom during jury selection.
