    Lizzy Nelson Cal State Northridge cross-country junior: Following a phenomenal sophomore campaign at Glendale Community College, Nelson has fast become a talent at the four-year level. On Saturday in San Diego at the Aztec Invitational, Nelson ran to victory in 18 minutes 46.50 seconds, finishing more than 17 seconds in front of her nearest competitor on the 5,000-meter course that featured 67 competitors.
