According to Branford's Dan Cosgrove Animal Director Laura Burban, between 19,000 and 25,000 dogs will be transported to Connecticut this winter, The Branford Eagle reported December 16. Burban shelter covers the Branford, North Branford and Northford area, where Laura has undertaken many efforts to help the dogs in the care of her shelter first, bringing up the question "Do we need more out-of-state of dogs? My personal feeling is we have to first answer a different question.
