    After 18 months of analysis, the school board has supported the Community Engagement Task Force's recommendation to address aging buildings and instruction, unanimously deciding to place the proposed $88.9 million bond on the November ballot. At a special meeting June 21, all five members agreed with the CETF's approach which is to build one central elementary school, renovate the middle school and demolish and rebuild the 50s and 60s section of the high school and renovate the 70s and 80s sections, calling it a sound, comprehensive plan.

    June 9 - A vehicle was stopped for weaving on Edgerton Road just east of West 130th Street around 2:15 a.m. The driver, Alen Medancic, 19, of North Royalton, allegedly had pieces of marijuana on his shirt and appeared intoxicated. He was arrested for OVI and officers allegedly found cigarillos, a backpack containing marijuana, digital scale and hash oil along with a fake ID in the vehicle.
