A car driven by Rauterkus ran into the daily newspaper building late Tuesday afternoon, crashing into the corner of the North Platte Telegraph at the corner of Chestnut and Front at 5:45 p.m. Rauterkus, 30, was driving a 2000 Buick Park Avenue east on Front St. at a high rate of speed and in a reckless manner, police said.
