Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Ronald J. Rice said Howard was previously convicted of felony drug charges in Mahoning County in 2005 and 2010.

    The Ohio State Highway Patrol is looking into recent reports of a possible large cat in the area of Interstate 76 and state Route 680 in North Jackson. A spokesman with OSP's Canfield office said Friday a patrolman on Thursday saw the animal in the area of I-76 and state Route 45. The animal is believed to weigh around 100 pounds.

The man, 24, told police three men at about 1 a.m. forced him into his Fifth Street SW apartment as he was returning from taking out the trash, hit him with the gun and made him lie on the floor, the report states, before running off with the money, cell phones and computer.

The manager checked the bill with a counterfeit detection pen and found it was fake, the report states.
