    Emergency crews were called to an area north of Buck Road, west of Westville Lake Road, to a camp site near a wooded area about 6:30 a.m. Fire department responders from North Georgetown, Beloit and Sebring traveled down an oil well access road north, then turned west to find the camp site. According to North Georgetown Fire Chief Ed Reichenbach, who was in charge of the scene, Schaffhauser was driving an ATV in the woods east of the camp site pulling a log up a hill, when he hit his head on a tree.

Altenburg pleaded no contest to prohibitions concerning companion animals for neglecting to get medical help for his dog Skittles, who was suffering from sores and other problems.
