The man had last seen the goat about 2 p.m. It had appeared to be uninjured at that time.

    The discovery of a dead baby goat in this town along with two others that were killed in neighboring West Brookfield, all discovered Monday, has police searching for clues. The Nigerian Dwarf goat in North Brookfield was found by a man on School Street on Aug. 7 and disposed of after he discovered its neck was broken but could not determine how the injury had occurred, North Brookfield police said.  When he learned on Wednesday that in West Brookfield, two dwarf goats were discovered with their necks broken, posed outside a family's Ridge Road home Monday morning, he called police.  “Their necks were broken, and there's no question it was intentional,” Sgt. 1 comment
