    Earl Foreman, who in the early 1970s gave Hampton Roads its most major taste of pro sports - the American Basketball Association's Virginia Squires - died Monday night at 92. Foreman once owned part of the NFL 's Philadelphia Eagles and the NBA 's Baltimore Bullets and was commissioner of the Major Indoor Soccer League for 10 years. Foreman moved an ABA franchise from Washington, D.C., to Virginia in 1970, where it was based in Norfolk but also played home games in Hampton, Roanoke and Richmond.
