    The Isle of Wight County Board of Supervisors approved an amendment to the county's comprehensive plan this week, despite two supervisors' worries that it would send the wrong message to citizens about the comprehensive plan process. John Glover applied to locate a sales office for his business, Tidewater Custom Modular Homes, on one acre of land at 22080 Brewer's Neck Blvd. Under the comprehensive plan, the property is part of a larger area designated as "suburban estate," which is intended for "single family residential development, with no commercial component," according to a staff report.
