    St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies on Thursday charged Joseph L. Paul, 45 of 142 Brouse Road, with failure to register change of address as a sex offender. Deputies charge that on Dec. 16, Paul, a Level II sex offender, moved from his registered address at 68 McEwen Road, North Lawrence to his address on Brouse Road without notifying the state sex offender registry within the allotted 10-day period.

He was also cited with second-degree harassment.

    A former Norfolk Town Court clerk who was charged with stealing more than $10,000 from the court, left court Wednesday on a misdemeanor plea and a conditional discharge. Lisa M. Dillon, 36, of 25 Baldwin Ave, Norwood, pleaded guilty in Canton Town Court to petit larceny and was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge.

    Two men were sentenced Thursday in St. Lawrence County Court, one to jail and the other to prison, for Massena burglaries in which they were both involved. Lynn G. Bormann IV, 27, 20 Parker Ave., Massena, was sentenced as a second-felony offender to 3 to 6 years in prison for his Dec. 22 guilty plea to third-degree burglary.

Defending champion M-W and SLC will now get set to face each other in the sectional final Sunday at the SUNY Canton Fieldhouse starting at 5 p.m. SLC 58, N-N 55: At Norfolk, the teams traded early baskets before the host Lady Flyers went on a 10-3 run to take their biggest lead of the game at 15-5 with 3:30 left in the first quarter.
