    A Chase Mills man suffered only minor scrapes and bruises in a one-vehicle accident Friday morning on Route 56 near Baxterville in the town of Norfolk. Timothy M. Davey said he was westbound on Route 56 at 10:15 a.m. Friday when his front driver's side tire blew as he was trying to pull over to answer a cellphone call.

He was charged with a felony count of first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving while ability impaired and reckless driving and ticketed for a stop sign violation, imprudent speed and failure to wear his seat belt.
