    This is the 83rd year for the event, which takes place July 13th-17th, and the hours will be the same every day 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and then again from 5 p.m.-11 p.m. Lunch hours will be added to both Saturday and Sunday, eliminating the 3-5 p.m. hours on those two days. On Sunday, July 17th, family day, there will be just a special 10 a.m. mass, with a youth ride matinee and other festivities beginning at 11 a.m. There will be a regular Saturday 4 p.m. mass and the 11:30 p.m. mass on Saturday night for workers and guests to the festival.

    Attorneys for a Niles teenager accused of killing an elderly neighbor are asking the Ohio Supreme court to reconsider its decision not to hear their challenge of a ruling that the teen will be tried as an adult for the crime. Last month the justices announced that the court does not have jurisdiction to hear the appeal filed by Larosa's attorneys who challenged a decision to put the sixteen-year-old on trial as an adult, instead of trying the case in juvenile court.
