Gilbert, 33, Ogdensburg, received an appearance ticket from state police July 10 at 1:30 p.m. alleging trespass.

    The Village Diner, in the Market Square Mall at the end of Depot Street, will remain open for dinner Mondays and Thursdays starting April 30. Owners Denise LaBar and Jarrod Davis have served breakfast and lunch every day since they bought the diner in November 2012. It has been open each day from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. LaBar, a Nicholville native and St. Lawrence University graduate, and Davis, a graduate of RPI from the Kingston area, said they "thought it was the right time to begin to offer customers the opportunity to have their evening meal at the diner a few nights a week as well."
