    Cable TV star Jeanine Pirro says she's waiting to hear from the Tioga County district attorney's office on what will happen after she was accused of driving 119 mph on Route 17. Pirro and Fox News Channel did not respond to requests from WNBF News on Tuesday for information on the status of the speeding ticket she received on November 19. Fox News issued a statement indicating Pirro submitted information to the DA's office "immediately after receiving the ticket" in the Town of Nichols. Pirro's speeding ticket was returnable to Nichols town court by mail or in person on January 8. The court clerk said there was no indication Pirro had contacted the court regarding the ticket.

    A Pennsylvania man who had been under house arrest and then absconded was arrested Sunday in Nichols for alleged possession of a stolen car and credit cards, according to New York State Police. James L. Coyne, 20, from Waverly, had been sought by Bradford County Sheriff's deputies in Pennsylvania when state troopers in Owego were advised on Saturday that he possibly stole a Ford Fusion and left it at the boat launch on River Road in Nichols.
