Independence County Sheriff Shawn Stephens said the search for Brooke Allensworth continues, but no new leads have come about since her car turned up under a rural bridge on July 27. The mother of three was last seen near Newark and Oil Trough.

The closure will remain in place until workers complete making improvements to the bridge over Carter Creek.
