    The other day I was walking on Hicks Street in Cobble Hill where I spotted a sign for the nonexistent Pacific Street . At that point, it's a pedestrian path from Henry Street to the east , and does not continue to the west through green space and the Brooklyn Queens Expressway .

    In Barclays Center Group Forges Long-Term Deal to Renovate LIU Brooklyn Paramount Theatre , Billboard reported 5/9/16: The team behind Barclays Center in Brooklyn and the renovation of the Nassau Veterans Coliseum on Long Island has signed a long-term lease with LIU Brooklyn to renovate and operate the 2,800 capacity Long Island University Brooklyn Paramount Theatre. The 49-year deal expands on an alliance first announced in January of last year, and will jumpstart a renovation project for the venue under the auspices of Paramount Events Center .

    Truth be told, there was little illuminating about Forest City's presentation to Community Board 2 last night regarding the upcoming 181 units of affordable housing at 461 Dean Street, the modular tower also known as B2. And presumably the presentation tonight to Community Board 8 will be similar: no details about the units but rather a reminder that information will be available this month, with online applications via NYC Housing Connect and paper applications via Mutual Housing Association of New York .
