East Lake Fire Rescue responded and Sunstar transported Jeffrey S. Diedrich to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Hudson.

    Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives are investigating a work-related accident that killed a 58-year-old Tarpon Springs man about 11 a.m. Aug. 9, at Glory Days Grill, 34200 U.S. 19 N. in Palm Harbor. Robert Tanner was pronounced dead at the scene about 11:49 a.m. Deputies were called to Glory Days Grill on a report of an unresponsive man who had been working on a billboard sign in front of the business.

    Florida Highway Patrol announced June 27 that the bicyclist who received critical injuries in a crash on the Bayside Bridge June 23 had died. Stephen Xavier Alimonda, 52, of Palm Harbor died on June 25. Alimonda had been riding his bicycle southbound on the outside paved shoulder of the Bayside Bridge about 6:12 a.m. June 23. Clement W. Dumas, 62, of New Port Richey was driving a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe in the outside lane also traveling southbound.

Dumas, 62, of New Port Richey was driving a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe also traveling southbound in the outside lane. Florida Highway Patrol says Dumas failed to stay in his lane and entered the pave shoulder and collided with the bicycle.
