    The world mourns another legend as it's revealed that New Orleans pianist and rhythm and blues hero FATS DOMINO has passed away at the age of 89. While he has been retired from performing for a decade, the music industry - and in particular the music that continues to be a Louisiana favourite - will feel a huge emptiness within it this year. Having been ill for many years, retiring from live performances in 2007 due to his quickly declining health, Fats Domino - real name Antoine Domino Jr. - died of natural causes at his home in Harvey, Lousiana yesterday morning where he was surrounded by his family.
