    The New Orleans Inspector General has issued a new report claiming that a lack of oversight of take-home vehicles by the Sewerage & Water Board has exposed the agency to potential fraud, waste, and abuse. The IG says take-home vehicles are assigned for the sole purpose of responding to emergencies after normal duty hours, but almost half of the employees assigned vehicles lived outside of Orleans Parish.
