The Case: A Waupaca County farmer, located at E8743 Crain Road, New London, called authorities after finding his 15-year-old pregnant horse bleeding and injured on Sunday, Nov.29th.

    State health officers now say a death has been linked to a fungal disease common in some rivers and riverbanks. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services says one person that died this summer had blastomycosis, and the blastomycosis was traced to the person's visit to the Little Wolf River in the New London area.
