John and Plabplueng Hayes were each charged with one felony count of conspiracy to introduce misbranded drugs into interstate commerce and one felony count of conspiracy to use a communications facility, the United States mail, to facilitate a drug trafficking offense.

Isaiah was already similarly recognized by New Ipswich's own Fire Department after a fire destroyed his home on May 25. Just before 4 a.m., Isaiah was awakened by his homes fire alarms and the smell of smoke, with flames already visible coming from the garage below the bedroom that Isaiah shared with his younger brother, Elijah.
