According to Turner, the suspect then fled in his vehicle and remains on the run.

Troopers say Wallace Davis was driving a 2003 GMC pickup truck westbound on the US 90 South Frontage Road approaching Darnall Road when for unknown reasons Davis failed to negotiate a left curve and traveled off of the roadway and into the grass separator.
