    The New Albany Municipal Separate School District is planning to operate next year with essentially the same budget total overall, but due to cuts mostly at the state level, they will probably need to compensate with a four-percent tax increase. Director of Accounting Services Suzanne Coffey told trustees at the budget hearing Monday that the district may also have to dip into savings, for as much as $476,466, but that is not certain yet.
