    PARSIPPANY - An overturned tractor-trailer accident has been cleared from the Route 287 ramp to Route 80 but delays were still reported in the area late Thursday afternoon. State Police at the Netcong barracks said at around 3 p.m. that the accident would clear in about an hour.

    Two off-duty state troopers rushed into a burning home and rescued a woman who was trapped inside, after they encountered a house fire on their way home from work on April 28. Troopers Adam Gonzalez and Justin Storie had just completed their shift at Troop "B" Netcong Station when they noticed dark smoke billowing from a home on U.S. Highway 206 at approximately 7:30 p.m. Without hesitation, they immediately stopped to render aid. Troopers Gonzalez and Storie were able to gain access into the residence through the front door, where they encountered heavy, black smoke.
