    Brian Flatoff will be allowed to represent himself at his upcoming trial for allegedly initiating a 2015 standoff at Eagle Nation Cycles in Neenah that resulted in police fatally shooting a man. A Winnebago County judge Wednesday approved the motion from Flatoff's attorneys - the ninth and tenth lawyers assigned to the case - to withdraw, and for Flatoff to defend himself.

    Officials say the incident was reported early Saturday afternoon after a car failed to stop at a stop sign along Lakeshore Road at the intersection with Highway 45. Three passengers in the van including two minor children and a 35 year old woman from Wittenberg were treated and released at the scene of the crash. The driver of the car, a 52 year old man from Clintonville, was airlifted to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah.
