During the annual Old Home Day celebration in hamlet of Champion, the Hiram Hubbard Homestead, located 34237 State Route 126, will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 4. The 4 River Valleys Historical Society owns the 1820s graystone, which was built by the hamlet's founder. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the homestead is being rehabilitated by the historical society to act as its headquarters, a museum and a research center.
