    INDIANAPOLIS The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles announced Thursday that BMV branches will extend hours of operation Nov. 5 and 6 to issue ID cards and driver's licenses to be used for identification at a polling place. Branches will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 5 and 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 6, which is Election Day.

    NAPPANEE A Cromwell man and woman were injured and taken to Elkhart General Hospital after a two-car collision late Friday near Nappanee. According to a press release from the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department, Marvin Whitacre, 48, Cromwell, was driving east on U.S. 6 and passed another vehicle, which forced a westbound vehicle driven by Marvin Whitener, 51, of Elkhart, to swerve and lose control.
