    The $17.5 million first phase of the 95th Street extension project was completed and the new bridge spanning the west branch of the DuPage River was opened to traffic this week, easing congestion on other east-west roads used to travel between the two municipalities. Crews were clearing out the road barriers and "Do not enter" signs, although final touches remain to be completed on the new stretch of road, which links 95th to Kings Road.
