According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Jonestown, around 4:03 a.m., one man entered the Goodwill Fire Company on the 100 block of W. Main Ave., Myerstown, and stole roughly $5,700 from their safe.

    Joseph Fisher of Myerstown was sentenced in Lebanon County court Wednesday after pleading guilty to two counts of homicide by vehicle while DUI and related charges, Lebanon Daily News reports. He was charged in April 2017 with causing the January 2017 crash that took the lives of Leanna and Paul Gerhard, both 78. Fisher had been drinking with friends before the crash, reports LDNews.

Police have a surveillance photo of a suspect who broke into a vehicle in Myerstown and took a woman's purse Dec. 13. The suspect later tried to use a stolen debit card from the purse at Northwest Bank on East Main Avenue in Myerstown at 2:47 a.m. Dec. 13. Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles and garages, and report suspicious activity.

Cameron Meyerhoeffer, 20, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia by state police after searching the storage unit at Affordable Storage Solutions where he and another individual were living, according to state police at Jonestown.
