District Attorney Orvil Loge said in a letter to Muskogee Police Chief Johnny Teehee on Tuesday that an investigation has cleared officer Ron Yates from wrongdoing in the death of 36-year-old Andrew Kana.

    The body of a 29-year-old man reported missing for several days was recovered Saturday from the Arkansas River in Muskogee County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. Just before 10 a.m., the body of Luke T. Dennis, of Muskogee, was found in the river about 4 miles west and 2 miles south of Braggs.
